Problem

Global deforestation is accelerating, but standard financial investments and typical “tree planting” charities struggle to offer a holistic, long-term solution.

The Generation Forest had a superior model – a cooperative that reforests Panama with biodiverse, multi-generational woods while yielding up to 4.5% green return.

However, convincing everyday consumers to choose “Slow Finance” over quick-return green bonds is a heavy lift. The challenge lay in making a long-term, complex ecological commitment feel immediately urgent and understandable to a mainstream audience.

Solution

The client came to us with a brilliant, raw concept: "Humans playing trees." Our challenge was refining this rough idea into a functional campaign.

The concept highlights exactly how terrible humans are at performing basic natural functions like absorbing CO2 or producing oxygen.

This directorial approach utilized a deeply positive framing to strip away the complexity of impact investing, positioning the cooperative not as a dense financial product, but as a logical way to outsource planetary survival to the true experts.
