Autonomous Driving in Munich

MOIA
Productions

Problem

When Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder joined MOIA CEO Sascha Meyer and Volkswagen ADMT CEO Christian Senger for an autonomous test ride in Munich, MOIA's ask was clear: keep it small.

A lean shoot, a tight schedule, and a 1-minute film for LinkedIn — but one that needed to carry both the engineering story and the political endorsement in the same frame.

Solution

Small footprint, big picture.

We designed a minimal setup that could move with the schedule — from the exterior arrival at the Staatskanzlei, into the vehicle with all three principals, through the autonomous route.

Shot list and storyboard were locked before we arrived: the empty steering wheel, the sensors, the conversation inside the cabin, the vehicle navigating Munich traffic on its own.

Everything planned so we could execute quietly around a sitting head of government without adding a gram of weight to the day.
